Antibacterial mechanism of silver ion:

     1. Interfere with the synthesis of cell wall. The interference effect of silver ion antibacterial agents on the cell wall mainly inhibits the  cross-linking of polysaccharide chains and tetrapeptides, so that the cell wall loses its integrity, loses its protective effect on osmotic   pressure, and damages the bacteria and causes death. 

      2. Damage the cell membrane. The cell membrane is an important part of the life activities of bacterial cells. If the cell membrane is       damaged or destroyed, the bacteria will die. 

      3. Inhibit protein synthesis. The protein synthesis process changes, stops, and kills bacteria. 

      4. Obstruct the duplication of genetic information. Including the synthesis of DNA and RNA, and the transcription of mRNA from DNA templates.
